Hello - Planning is almost complete for the 12th Water Conservation/Xeriscape Conference, 8-10 March, 2007 to be held at the Albuquerque Convention Center. We again expect about 400 to register for the conference and will have about 200 exhibit spaces filled for the Expo. This year's title is Desert To Oasis - Back To Basics.

Confirmed speakers include Sandra Postel, our global water keynoter, Allan Savory, desert ecosystems keynoter, plus William McDonough, Judith Phillips, Sid Goodloe, Carol Franklin, Ron Pate, Marcia Tatroe, Jim Knopf, Rose Corva and Joran Viers.

The web site will be updated shortly but registration is available now online. The Conference fee will again be $150.00. I encourage you to register early!

This year the Speaker Reception/Dinner will be available to the first 50 conference registrants for $25.00. The reception is at the Doubletree,

8 March, from 6:00-8:30. Last year this was only available for the Council and Sponsors - so I urge you to sign up. All speakers will attend.

We will be communicating a little more regularly now since March is only about 5 months away!!
