At the stop light where the Dream Catcher Movie Theater is, go west towards La Mesilla
on Rt. 399. (From the Sombrillo area, cross the highway at the light and continue towards Black Mesa--La Mesilla.)
Travel a little over 3 miles on Rt. 399 (there is a small 3 mile marker), and soon after the trailer
park on your left, you come to a “Y” in the road where there is a now-defunct little adobe grocery store in the
middle of the “Y”.
Take the right fork. It will look like you are going straight.
(Do NOT take the hard right there onto Catherine Lane where several of our friends live.) This fork
is about a mile from my house.
The road
will turn to the right and to the left. And pretty soon the road will
turn to dirt. Then on your left, you will see a house with a flagpole in the yard.
Directly after that flagpole house, you will find a narrow lane on the left with a “No Trespassing”
sign, and my mailbox is on the other side of the road. Take a left here. You will see
the amazing Black Mesa in front of you!
Go to the end of that lane where
you will see a sign on the right that marks my neighbor, Mr. Sena’s house. Directly after his driveway,
you will notice a board fence that separates our properties.
After that board fence,
take a right into my large gravel driveway that has an island in it with a big blue spruce tree. You will
see my adobe style home. Please park in the driveway so that you are not blocking any other car, and try
to leave room for another incoming car.
Please come down the walk that is
to the right of the garage to the front door, and ring the bell--and if we are having a gathering, just walk in.
